Jacksonville, FL – A woman performed a sexual act on a man for $5 and some Pringles potato chips and then was shot Jan. 21 by the man, who had demanded that the woman give him back the $5.
The woman was shot in the shoulder while at the Shell gas station and suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to WFTV.
The suspect fled on foot after shooting the woman.
When the police officer first arrived on the scene, he saw a woman lying on the ground in front of the Shell gas station, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office incident report. The officer followed a blood trail to behind the gas station.
The victim was identified by police as Wendy Willis, 46. She told police she was offered $5 and a bag of Pringles to perform oral sex on a man she didn’t know.
Willis performed the sex act and after it was done, the man pulled out a hand gun and demanded the $5 back, according to the police incident.
Willis refused to give a refund and the suspect shot her.
Police said there was a nearby business that had a camera in a drive-thru that faced the crime scene, according to the police incident report. The case is open and police are still investigating.
It wasn’t the first time Pringles had made the news. Earlier this month, a Texas woman was banned from Walmart after driving around the parking lot in a car drinking wine from a Pringles can.
