Mountain View, CA – After a woman was arrested for falsely accusing a man she met on a dating site of domestic assault, her shady history came uncovered.

Police were investigating Sunmee Kim, 44, after she reported to police that her fiancée had attacked her, according to KCAL-TV.

The police interviewed the man after his arrest and he said that he was just her housemate and had no romantic interest in Kim.

When that man returned home after being released from jail, he discovered Kim has stolen his belongings from his home.

Police discovered Kim had done similar acts to a number of men with false accusations of abuse, KCAL reported.

Kim was also on parole in Orange County after serving four years in prison for targeting men in several cities in California seven years ago.

Kim pleaded guilty to eight counts of false imprisonment, four counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of grand theft and one count of identity theft.

She was released from prison three years ago. Police believe Kim victimized other men throughout California using aliases, according to KCAL.

The suspect used a Korean dating site to find potential victims to rob.

Kim would use fake names including Sunny Jean Kim, Jean Kim, Jiin and Ashley Kim to fool police and the men she met on KoreanCupid.com, according to police.

One of the men Kim conned was Deukman Lee. He sued the city for $150,000 after he was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault, the Charlotte Observer reported.

A man who lives in an Irvine condominium told KCAL that he met Kim on the dating site.

That man said he knew Kim for just one week when she accused him of domestic violence. He was arrested on those accusations.

Once police discovered the truth, they let him go. The man said he trusted Kim because they shared the same Korean heritage.

In 2009, Kim faked her own kidnapping in Los Angeles so she could shakedown a man with whom she was living for the ransom money, according to the Charlotte Observer.
