Madison County, KY – A woman was arrested on assault charges after she “intentionally released her bowels in an upward motion,” during an altercation with a Madison County sheriff’s deputy.

This resulted in the woman’s feces spattering across the deputy’s face and body, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Sep. 14, when the deputy was attempting to arrest 26-year-old Amanda Rochelle Peters for an outstanding Rockcastle County warrant, WLEX reported.

When the homeowner at a residence on Liberty Avenue allowed the deputy to come inside, Peters ran into a bathroom and locked the door in an attempt to avoid arrest.

The deputy forced his way into the room, at which point Peters fought with him.

According to police, Peters then “intentionally released her bowels in an upward motion and with purposeful direction at the deputy – causing said bodily waste to land on the face, arms and legs of this deputy,” WLEX reported.

Peters was booked into the Madison County Detention Center on charges of third-degree assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, giving officers false identifying information, and theft of identity of another without consent, WTHR reported.
