Weatherford, TX – A wedding photographer, who is also a swimsuit model, threatened to kill the families of police officers after her arrest at a wedding.
Photographer Katie Mehta, 26, was originally hired to photograph a wedding, according to KVUE.
An off-duty sheriff’s deputy was working the wedding and was told by the wedding party that Mehta had sex with a man while she was presumably supposed to be taking pictures.
She was told that her behavior was inappropriate and left the building and began to yell once she got outside near a fountain, according to KVUE.
Officers told her to leave the property but instead went to a nearby tree and began to urinate.
According to the police report, sheriff’s deputies noticed a strong odor of liquor coming from Mehta and later found a bottle of prescription drug Alprazolam on her.
That drug is usually used to treat anxiety and greatly increases impairment when mixed with alcohol.
Mehta was arrested. While she was being taken to jail, she threatened the police officers, according to KVUE.
“Y’alls daughters are dead,” Mehta said, according to the police report. “Y’all families will be dead by Christmas.”
Mehta is a swimsuit model who as a professional photographer uses the name Max McIntyre. She has posted photos and videos of herself on Instagram and YouTube.
WFAA attempted to contact Mehta and a family member said that Mehta said she was given spiked drinks at the wedding without her knowledge. She said she became ill at the wedding.
“She said she went outside, and she said these two men tried to approach her and do inappropriate things,” the family member said, according to WFAA. “And she said she was yelling and trying to get help, and things got turned around in a negative way.”
Mehta is facing charges of public intoxication and a felony charge of obstruction or retaliation, according to WFAA.
