North Miami, FL – The woman who became famous when a video went viral of her careening down Interstate 95, with her ex-boyfriend clinging to the hood of her car, has been arrested (video below).

Patresha Isidore, 24, told WSVN-TV that she gave her ex-boyfriend the opportunity to get off the car, but that he refused to let go.

Isidore said she was too afraid of him to let him back inside the vehicle, so she just kept driving.

The wild ride happened on Sunday, when Isidore tried to leave the house she still shared with her ex-boyfriend to go pick up her children, WSVN reported.

“I had to go get my child. I wasn’t going to deal with any foolishness,” she said, according to WSVN.

She said she got in her car, and her ex-boyfriend jumped on the hood, intent on stopping her from leaving. So Isidore said she hit the gas.

Isidore filmed the incident on her cell phone, as she drove with her former boyfriend clinging to the top of the hood as he talked on his own cell phone.

Then she was spotted on I-95, flying down the road, at speeds in excess of 70 mph, with him still clutching the hood.

“I have never seen anything like that on the highway,” 19-year-old Daniel Midah told the Sun-Sentinel. “I was doing 75 and this car passes me. I said, ‘I have to get this on video.’”

Midah said he filmed the scene because he didn’t think anyone would believe him.

He posted the video on Twitter about 30 minutes later with the comment, “When she says she’s done with you but you’re not really done with her # onlyinflorida.”

The angry woman was charged with culpable negligence, a misdemeanor, the Sun-Sentinel reported. But she said she didn’t think she should have been arrested.

Isidore told police that she did stop at one point to try and get rid of the passenger prone on her hood, but he demanded that she let him in the car. So she took off again.

“He was threatening me, so I was scared, so of course I wasn’t going to stop and let him get in the car,” Isidore told WSVN. “That guy is crazy. He won’t leave me alone. We broke up about eight months ago.”

Isidore said that the couple had a rocky relationship, and that she planned to get a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, despite the fact that they live together, WSVN reported.
