Oakland, CA – A driver’s dashcam captured the moment when three suspects tried to carjack her in the Oakland hills area last week (video below).

The incident occurred at approximately 8 a.m. on July 21 as the unidentified female victim was driving southeast on Skyline Boulevard, KTVU reported.

The woman had a dashcam in her vehicle, which showed a white Dodge Charger traveling down the road in front of her.

The footage showed the Dodge slowing suddenly and pulling towards the right edge of the roadway just before the driver suddenly turned the vehicle at an angle in the middle of the street, blocking the woman’s path.

“Come on now, quit f—king around,” she said in the video as the Dodge came to a stop in front of her.

That’s when the driver’s door of the white car swung open and a man began running towards her car with a gun pointed at her.

A second suspect jumped out of the passenger side of the suspect vehicle and ran towards the passenger side of her car, the video showed.

“I punched [the accelerator]. I ran around their car and I drove away as fast as I could to try to get someplace safe,” the victim later told KTVU.

She veered right onto Keller Avenue and was able to escape.

The woman said she has been driving that route for the past 38 years.

“I feel very fortunate that no guns were fired, no cars were crashed, no people were on the street,” she told KTVU.

Oakland police announced on Thursday they have arrested one juvenile and two male suspects in connection with the incident, KTVU reported.

Their identities were not released.

Investigators said they have tied the trio to multiple other carjackings in the area, including incidents in the neighborhoods of Crestmont, Tompkins Avenue, Piedmont Avenue Southeast, and Sequoyah Heights.
