Tucker, GA – An employee of a Georgia vape shop whose anti-Trump tantrum targeting a customer was recorded has been fired after the video of the meltdown went viral.
Ian Furgeson posted the encounter on his Facebook page Dec. 28. Within 20 hours, the video had been shared 34,000 times and had 22,000 comments. (Watch the video below)
Furgeson started the video by saying that he was just asked to leave the store.
“If you don’t stop recording in my store I’m going to call the police and ask you to leave now,” the employee said as Furgeson recorded.
“That would be awesome,” Furgeson responded.
“I would like to purchase something here,” Furgeson said.
When the employee threatened to call his boss, Furgeson said that he would be calling the corporate office.
“Go for it,” the employee said off camera.
When Furgeson said again he just wanted to purchase something, the employee lost his cool and yelled, “F–k off! You f–k off!” and then swung at Furgeson from behind the counter and apparently hit Furgeson’s phone.
The employee then called somebody and said that the customer was wearing racist clothing and was wearing “Trump bulls–t.”
“I’m not serving anyone that has to do with that f–ker,” the employee told the person at the other end of the line.
When Furgeson again told the employee he wanted to just buy something, the the employee lost his temper and yelled, “Leave the store! Leave the store! Leave the store! F-k off! I don’t give a f–k, get out!”
The video ended with the employee saying, “I’m not selling you d–k.”
Breitbart reported that the employee had been fired, as announced in a Facebook post by the business. That Facebook post has since been removed.
There is a screen shot of a Facebook post on Yelp from Xhale City that read: “Tonight, we had an employee act improperly toward a customer. Xhale City does not tolerate this kind of behavior from its employees. When we identified the employee at fault, we fired him immediately. We’ve also spoken to the customer and apologized. We value our clients and treat them with respect and dignity, regardless of their political views.”
