Tracy, CA – A viral video shows an incident between what appears to be a San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Deputy and a suspect Wednesday evening (video below.)

As of the time of this writing, we have been unable to confirm any details about the incident besides what is depicted in the video, which is disturbing to watch.

The video starts out with an officer pointing a Taser at a suspect and ordering him to the ground. The suspect gets on the ground, but appears ready to jump up and bolt.

When the officer orders the suspect to put his hands behind his back, the man complies for a brief moment, and then jumps up and walks towards the officer.

“Get on the ground! Get on the ground now!” the officer screams as the man ignores him.

The suspect then moseys over to his vehicle and starts to get in. The officer grabs the door to keep the suspect from getting in.

The suspect hits the officer, knocking him to the ground. As the officer goes down, he fires his Taser, which fails to have any effect. The man rips the Taser probes right out.

The man then roars and charges the officer, who appears to throw his Taser on the ground before running away. The suspect can be seen beating on the officer as the officer flees.

With the officer away, the suspect jumps into the driver’s seat of the officer’s patrol car.

The video then cuts out, and returns when the suspect is back in the driver’s seat of his own vehicle.

The suspect quickly reverses his vehicle, almost hitting the officer.

“Shoot his tires out,” the bystander screams, “Oh, he gonna kill himself.”

“He’s gonna kill somebody else,” another bystander says as the man drives in a circle and rams the patrol car.

The video ends as a backup officer arrives and the man runs away. A second video appears to show the suspect squaring off with officers in a nearby parking lot, but doesn’t show the conclusion.
