Philadelphia, PA – A group of protesters attacked prominent conservatives Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens as the two finished breakfast in the City of Brotherly Love on Monday morning (video below).

“F–k the racist police!” protesters chanted as Philadelphia police officers, who all appeared to be minorities, formed a protective barrier around the two after they went to breakfast at Green Eggs Café on South 13 Street, Newsweek reported.

Both Owens and Kirk are executive members of Turning Point USA, a conservative non-profit which promotes capitalism.

Videos captured at the incident showed Kirk and Owens having to be escorted from the restaurant by Philadelphia police officers as a large group of very loud protesters screamed insults through megaphones outside the doors of the restaurant.

Protesters screamed profanities and chanted numerous anti-police slogans at the two outspoken supporters of President Donald Trump, accusing them of being white supremacists and affiliated with the Ku Klux Klan, Newsweek reported.

One protester threw a drink at Kirk, the video showed, but it didn’t appear that officers made any arrests. Kirk simply continued to smile and be polite to the officers protecting them as protesters became even more inflamed.

Kirk said that police asked him if he wanted to pursue charges against the drink thrower, and he declined, according to Philly Voice.

“Shame on you!” one woman shrieked over and over through a megaphone, while others banged on drums and some blew whistles, the video showed.

Both Owens and Kirk smiled throughout the altercation, as concerned-looking police officers on foot and with bicycles attempted to cordon them off. The video showed an officer asking Owens where they needed to go next.

At one point, Owens waved to the enraged crowd as though she were greeting fans.

“F–k police brutality!” The protesters chanted before an earsplitting group scream.

“We love the police, we love America, we love the USA,” Owens yelled back at the angry mob.

Owens and Kirk took to social media after the incident, sharing their own videos of the incident.
