Cullen, LA – A liquor store manager remained calm and unfazed as two armed assailants burst into her store and shoved a gun in her face, surveillance footage showed (video below).

The incident occurred at the First Stop Discount Liquor store at approximately 10:18 p.m. on Nov. 5, an employee told Blue Lives Matter on Tuesday.

The employee explained that store owner Siham Hassan, was working inside the business when two men from Hope, Arkansas came in.

Both men attempted to cover their faces, one with a bandana and another with the front of his shirt, surveillance footage showed.

The first suspect to come through the door immediately pointed a handgun at Hassan.

Seemingly undaunted, Hassan stood with her hands on her hips for a moment before she walked towards the gunman, who was also heading in her direction.

With the gun inches from her face, Hassan began to walk by the armed assailant, but then stopped to tug his bandana away.

“If you’re gonna kill me, I want to see your face,” Hassan told him, according to the employee.

The gunman swatted her hand away and again shoved the barrel of the weapon into her face.

According to Cullen Police Chief Rosette Harris, the suspect then directed his accomplice to go behind the counter to steal the business’s cash, KTBS reported.

But Hassan wasn’t about to have any of that.

She calmly walked passed the gunman as he backed away towards the front door, then she grabbed his accomplice and shoved him away while she made her way behind the counter, the video showed.

“I’ve got something for you,” Hassan said, according to the employee.

Before she could even grab her .45-caliber pistol, both men began scurrying out the door.

While her back was turned, the gunman shot her in the leg, KTBS reported.

Hassan returned fire, hitting one of the suspects in the shoulder, the employee told Blue Lives Matter.

According to Chief Harris, Hassan then limped after the men, and fired at least three more rounds from the doorway as they fled across the street, KTBS reported.

One of the men even left his slippers and jacket behind, the employee told Blue Lives Matter.

According to the employee, police later apprehended both suspects.

She identified one of the men as Tomario Nabors, but Cullen police did not confirm the suspects’ identities when contacted by Blue Lives Matter.

The employee said the suspects were not from the area, but that they had been dating a couple of local girls.

Nabors and his accomplice are also suspects in a series of other offenses in their home state of Arkansas, she said.

According to the employee, someone attempted to break into the store twice in the weeks prior to the attack, but they were unsuccessful.

She said they suspect the men had been “casing” the business.

Hassan was treated for her gunshot wound in Shreveport, and was expected to fully recover, KTBS reported.

Cullen police told Blue Lives Matter that the incident was still under investigation, but would not provide further details.
