Cypress, CA – A man caught taking inappropriate photos of women in skirts at a Target store in was tackled by an enraged father who saw him filming his teenage daughter on Tuesday (video below).

The Cypress Police Department said it was alerted to the problem at about 8 p.m. on July 31, when they received a call about a man taking photos up women’s skirts at the Target located on Katella Avenue, KTLA reported.

Jorge A. Ibarra Jr., 29, was caught using his cell phone to film unsuspecting women when Ismael Duarte noticed Ibarra filming his wife and 15-year-old daughter.

“He flipped the phone around, put it in camera mode, and followed my daughter,” Angelica Duarte told KTLA.

“My husband noticed his phone in camera mode and right away got in between him and my daughter,” she said, noting they didn’t know how much he actually captured of their daughter.

Duarte went after Ibarra and kicked the phone away from him, the video showed.

Ibarra fled, and Duarte chased him into the parking lot and tackled him, KTLA reported.

Duarte said that he let the man go at that point and took pictures of him and his car’s license plate for police as the pervert made his getaway.

After the incident involving the Duartes, Target checked their surveillance videos and found other clips of Ibarra squatting down to film at least one woman in a red dress as she bent down to look at a display in the cosmetic aisle.

Another Target store in nearby Cerritos checked their own surveillance systems and also found video of Ibarra taking inappropriate photos or videos of women in their location, too, earlier the same day.

“It’s very disgusting,” Angelica Duarte told KTLA. “It’s disgusting that he knew exactly what he was doing. If he went to different Targets to do this, how many other stores did he go to?”

The Duartes told KTLA they were angry because someone had reported Ibarra’s behavior to store managers earlier in the day, but he wasn’t reported to police until the Duartes called 911 after their altercation with him much later on.

Police arrested Ibarra on Wednesday and booked him into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of invasion of privacy, according to KTLA.

He was being held on $25,000 bail.
