Scottsdale, AZ – Police released video of the 2017 arrest of Bruce Maxwell where he went on an obscene tirade against the police.

Maxwell is the only Major League Baseball player to kneel during the national anthem.

Maxwell was arrested in October of 2017 for aggravated assault when he pulled a gun on a delivery person who had come to his house, according to TMZ. (Video below)

When the police arrived, Maxwell was shirtless and started a profanity-filed tirade berating police.

“Think I’m intimidated? Cool. Cool. I hope so. I’m not afraid of f—ing none of y’all n-ggas. I don’t give a f–k,” Maxwell said in the video, according to TMZ.

He continued, “Guess what, f—ing half of America afraid of y’all motherf—ers. Yeah, that’s the reason why I took a knee. F—ing anthem, dog.”

Maxwell added: “F—ing our country is afraid of the f—ing police. Wanna know why? Because the f—ing police does unjustice s–t and gets f—ing paid leave for it.”

Maxwell then talked about the race of his parents: “My mom is white as s–t. My dad is black as a motherf—-r.”

Later in the video, TMZ reported that Maxwell was emotional as he told the police he and his family received death threats for his national anthem protest.

The aggravated assault charge against Maxwell was reduced in a plea deal to disorderly conduct, according to TMZ.

This year, Maxwell has played in just 18 games for the Oakland A’s and is hitting just .182 as of June 16.

In September of 2017 Maxwell made the news when he claimed he was refused service at a restaurant because of his protest of the anthem.

However, the manager said Maxwell fabricated the whole story and that he was given full service, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
