Santa Ana, CA – A 6-foot-2, 350 pound shoplifter who was unloading bags of stolen goods into his car was knocked out in one punch by a witness half his size (video below.)

The June 17 incident was captured on video as 32-year-old Jose Prado had left the store without paying for a cart full of items, according to KTLA-TV.

In the 19-second video, Prado was wearing a backpack and was taking numerous items out of a shopping cart and putting them into the back of a vehicle.

There were half dozen employees watching and some recording Prado on their cell phones.

When Prado emptied the cart, he turned around and menacingly approached the store employees. The employees were able to keep their distance from Prado.

Prado then chased after a few employees in the parking lot. As the employees back away, Prado yelled profanities and said, “C’mon!” and motioned for the employees to take him on.

Prado then approached one employee who had picked up a bag that was left on the ground.

As Prado was pinning that employee against another car, another man in a cap and a brown shirt delivered a knock-out punch and the 350-pound Prado collapsed.

Throughout the 19-second video, a distressed woman with Prado was yelling. The woman got out of the vehicle and blocked employees who tried to take back the merchandise, according to KTLA.

The man who knocked down Prado then left the scene and hasn't been seen since.

Police said they would like to interview that man as a witness.

After he was knocked down, Prado got up and left with the woman, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Prado was arrested Aug. 29 and booked. Bail was set at $50,000, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
