Corvallis, OR – An armed convicted felon who reached for a loaded handgun during a traffic stop in November has demanded that the court return her weapons to her or compensate her by awarding her $100 trillion.

Alanna Partin, 38, filed her arguments and demands with the Benton County Circuit Court on Dec. 21, the Corvallis Gazette-Times reported.

The apparent sovereign citizen alleged that Corvallis police and Benton County deputies – whom she calls “privateers,” – assaulted and threatened her while brandishing deadly weapons during a traffic stop on Nov. 7.

Partin accused the officers of having an “intent to murder her,” the document read.

On Thursday, Partin challenged the authority of Benton County Circuit Court Judge Locke Williams by refusing to cross the bar between the gallery and the attorneys’ tables when he called her forward.

Instead, she leaned against the wall with her arms crossed, and demanded that Williams show her documents to prove he is a legitimate judge, the Corvallis Gazette-Times reported.

“I reserve all rights,” she said. “I need to make sure this court is in order before I cross the bar.”

Williams and Partin argued a litany of legal issues for a period, before the defendant abruptly announced that the hearing was over.

“We’re done here,” Partin told Williams, as she turned to march out of his courtroom.

“If you walk out of that door, you will be held in contempt of court,” Williams assured her. “You will be held in jail until trial.”

She ultimately conceded, then proceeded to resume her argument with the judge regarding her various interpretations of the law.

Partin demanded that the hearing be conducted in accordance with the Uniform Commercial Code, which is a view commonly held by sovereign citizens, and at one point referred to Williams as a “vessel of commerce,” the Corvallis Gazette-Times reported.

Williams finally cut her off, and encouraged her to speak with a lawyer.

“This court does not recognize the legal gibberish you are putting forward,” he told Partin. “My advice to you would be to be represented by an attorney. I believe it would be a grievous error for you to try to go forward with these legal theories that have no basis in law.”

Partin has been charged with interfering with a peace officer, felon in possession of a firearm, and failure to carry or present a driver’s license as a result of the November traffic stop.

At approximately 1:48 a.m., a Benton County sheriff’s deputy pulled Partin over for equipment violations, but she refused to show the deputy her driver’s license.

When he told her to exit the vehicle, she allegedly made a grab for her loaded .357-caliber revolver, resulting in the deputy deploying his Taser.

After Partin was placed under arrest, officers also found an AR-15 without a serial number inside her car.

Partin has denied having reached for the weapon.

In her court filing, Partin demanded that she be paid $1,500 per day for loss of use of her weapons, and that they be returned to her immediately.

Should the court fail to comply, it will be required to compensate her “not less than 100 Trillion dollars paid in LAWFUL Currency pursuant to 12 USC 411,” she wrote, according to the Corvallis Gazette-Times.

Partin is due back in court on Jan. 28.
