New York, New York – A BB gun-wielding teenager proclaimed on Facebook Live that “we about to do crimes” before police tracked him down and shot him after he wouldn’t drop his weapon.

After police shot 19-year-old Naeem Graham, three New York Police Department officers may have saved his life by improvising a tourniquet out of a broken door frame and a draw string from the teen’s sweatpants.

Graham had lost consciousness and his pant leg was covered in blood.

The three officers removed the clothing from his leg to find the bullet wound.

The officers used a seat-belt cover, cut the draw strings from Graham’s sweat pants and another officer found a piece of a door frame and broke that off, the New York Post reported.

Graham was completely unresponsive in a pool of blood.

The armed teenager posted on social media his intentions to break the law that night.

“Look, my gang members about to pop out,” Graham said at the start of the video. “We about to get “s*ituated.”

“We about to do crimes,” Graham boasted in the video.

“Yo, is today Thursday? I thought today was Friday…I am smacked bro. I need to start going to school more,” Graham said before entering a store, according to the NY Post .

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a man in a red sweatshirt with a weapon inside a deli. The police chased Graham and ordered him to drop his weapon. When Graham refused, they shot him.

But Graham kept on running and left a blood trail behind that officers were able to track.

Surveillance footage captured Graham limping and running into the building as an officer with a gun drawn chased him.

The NY Post reported that Graham has five prior arrests on his record, including one for a robbery in November 2015. The rest of the arrests are sealed.

Charges against Graham for the Thursday incident were pending.
