Nantucket, MA – Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey released a bizarre video of himself on YouTube on Monday, shortly after prosecutors announced that he has been charged for the alleged sexual assault of a man at a bar in 2016 (video below).

On Monday, Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced that Spacey, 59, has been charged with indecent assault and battery, and that his arraignment has been scheduled to take place in Nantucket District Court on Jan. 7, 2019, The Boston Globe reported.

During a press conference in November of 2017, the alleged victim’s mother, former WCVB news anchor Heather Unruh, publicly accused the actor of sexually assaulting her son at a bar in July of 2016.

According to Unruh, after her then-18-year-old son finished working his shift at the bar, he began chatting with Spacey and told him he was old enough to legally drink, FOX News reported.

Spacey proceeded to buy drinks for the man until he became intoxicated, at which point the actor allegedly reached inside the man’s pants and grabbed his genitals without consent.

Unruh said that her son tried to move away from Spacey, but that he was “only momentarily successful,” The Boston Globe reported.

He then allegedly encouraged the victim to leave the bar with him to go drinking together at an after-party, she said.

When Spacey got up to use the bathroom, a woman approached Unruh’s son and told him to run, Unruh said.

He fled from the bar and went to his grandmother’s home, where he told his sister what had transpired.

He ultimately reported the incident to Nantucket police later that fall.

“The victim, my son, was a star-struck, straight, 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator or that he was about to become his next victim,” Unruh said during the press conference in 2017.

“This was a criminal act,” she declared.

As news of the charges against him broke, Spacey posted a video to his YouTube channel that showed him speaking in character from his role of Frank Underwood of his Netflix “House of Cards.”

Spacey was fired from his starring role in the political drama after additional sexual assault allegations began surfacing in the fall of 2017.

“I know what you want,” Spacey said in the video. “Oh sure, they may have tried to separate us, but what we have is too strong, it’s too powerful and after all, we shared everything, you and I.”

“I told you my deepest, darkest secrets. I showed you exactly what people are capable of. I shocked you with my honesty, but mostly I challenged you and made you think,” he said. “And you trusted me even though you knew you shouldn’t.”

“So, we’re not done, no matter what anyone says. And besides, I know what you want: You want me back,” Spacey said.

The actor then noted that some people “believed everything,” and that they have been anxiously waiting for him to “confess it all.”

“You wouldn’t believe the worst without evidence? Would you?” he asked his viewers. “You wouldn’t rush to judgments without facts, would you? Did you?”

“Because I can promise you this: If I didn’t pay the price for the things we both know I did do, I’m certainly not going to pay the price for the things I didn’t do,” Spacey continued. “Like I ever played by anyone’s rules before. I never did, and you loved it.”

He said he felt “surprisingly good” despite all the “animosity,” “headlines, [and] impeachment without a trial.”

“My confidence grows each day that soon enough, you will know the truth,” Spacey said.

“Conclusions can be so deceiving,” Spacey said. “Miss me?”

Nearly a dozen other men also accused Spacey of sexual misconduct while he was serving as the artistic director at London’s Old Vic theater from 2004 until 2015, FOX News reported.

In October of 2017, “Rent” actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making a sexual advance towards him back in 1986, when Rapp was 14 years old.

Spacey later said that he has “a lot of respect and admiration” for Rapp, and that he did not recall the incident the Broadway star described.

“If I did behave as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years,” Spacey said in a Twitter statement at the time, according to ABC News.
