Wellington, FL – A former professional football player who found a Peeping Tom at his 14-year-old daughter’s window said he had a “good conversation” with the man after he caught him.

Former National Football League (NFL) player Tony Beckham, who played for the Tennessee Titans and the Detroit Lions, caught 48-year-old Geoffrey Cassidy peeking through the blinds into his daughter’s bedroom on Monday, according to WDIV.

The former defensive back told the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office that he found Cassidy crouched in the bushes masturbating next to his daughter’s window.

He told WPLG that Cassidy’s pants were partially down and he had his penis out when he encountered him.

Beckham yelled and Cassidy ran. But the former football player was faster, and quickly tackled the Peeping Tom to the ground.

“I couldn’t believe it. I was like, ‘Is this for real?’ I thought I was getting ‘Punk’d,'” Beckham said, according to WPBF. “I caught him at the apartment over there and we just had a good conversation.”

Beckham’s wife came outside to find her husband holding Cassidy down and called the police.

When deputies arrived, Cassidy and Beckham were still fighting.

Beckham’s daughter told the police she had just gotten out of the shower and was getting dressed when Cassidy was looking through the window, WPLG reported.

Cassidy told police he wasn’t looking into the window, but that he was in the neighborhood because his car broke down.

He said he was waiting for the car to cool down when the incident occurred.

Cassidy was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition, WDIV reported.

But first, he was transported to the hospital with fractures to his face and eye.

The police mugshot of Cassidy showed him with a black eye as well as a cut lip after tangling with his victim’s father.

Beckham played five seasons in the NFL and was listed as six-foot-one and 187 pounds during his playing days, WPLG reported.

He played college football at Wisconsin-Stout and was a fourth-round draft pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2002 NFL draft.

Cassidy was being held on a $1,500 bond, WPLG reported.
