Rancho Cordova, CA – Two Sacramento County sheriff's deputies and two citizens were shot on Monday afternoon.
The incident happened after the deputies responded to a call at the Pep Boys near Folsom Boulevard and McGregor Drive at around 1:44 p.m., according to KCRA.
After deputies arrived, a gunman opened fire, shooting two deputies. It's unclear when the two citizens were shot.
UPDATE: One of the deputies has died.
The Sacramento Bee reported that a female deputy called out on the radio that she had been shot in the arm and that her partner was down.
The deputies and both citizens have been rushed to the hospital, but their conditions have not been released.
The suspect has been taken into custody.
