BREAKING: FBI Agent Shot In New York

New York, NY – An FBI agent was shot Saturday afternoon in the Canarsie area of Brooklyn.

According to NY Daily News, the agent was shot during an altercation in the area of E. 91st St. near Seaview Ave.

The gunman shot the agent in the shoulder and reportedly fled in a black BMW.

Some reporters are saying that the agent was off duty at the time, but the Associated Press is reporting that the shooting happened while the agent was on duty.

The FBI agent was transported to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

The gunman reportedly remains at large, but no official information about the suspect has been released.

Preliminary reports are that there is a second person shot on scene, but they have not been identified.

UPDATE: Three suspects were involved in the gunfight. One suspect was captured when he arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds. A second suspect was taken into custody near the scene. The third suspect fled in a dark grey BMW with a window shot out and remains at large, according to CBS New York.
