Middleton, WI – Police have responded to a report of an active shooter in an office building in a suburb of Madison.
A WMTV reporter said he talked to his friend named “Jess” who works inside the building, and Jess told him that someone who works in the building opened fire and shot multiple people.
He also said that the shooter was down, WMTV reported. That report is unconfirmed.
The Wisconsin State Journal reported that at least 40 police vehicles and ambulances from multiple jurisdictions had responded to 1850 Deming Way, which houses companies that include Esker Software and WTS Paradigm.

However, the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office told the Wisconsin State Journal that nobody from their office has been called to the scene as of 11:10 a.m.
