Kennedy was described as five foot, eight inches tall, and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He has green eyes and gray hair. He also has multiple tattoos on his arms, and his left ear is pierced.
Police said Kennedy was last seen wearing a brown t-shirt, gray shorts, and black and white Sketchers shoes.
Emma weighs 18 pounds and is approximately two feet tall. She has blond hair, blue eyes, and a small scar on her left cheek.
Emma was last seen wearing a headband and a light blue dotted onesie with a white rabbit on her left leg.
She is believed to be in “extreme danger,” police said.
Kennedy is Emma’s father, WRC reported.
He allegedly assaulted the baby’s mother and kidnapped the child at knifepoint.
Kennedy is a registered sex offender out of North Carolina and is out on bond for a drug distribution charge.
Initial reported indicated that Kennedy fled with the infant in a gold Suzuki, with North Carolina plate FAA1973. An emblem on the vehicle’s trunk read, “Johnny’s Auto Sales.” That information has since been updated, WDBJ reported.
