Monroe, LA – A woman who was caught with drugs hidden in her vagina told police she had no idea where the narcotics had come from when she was caught.
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office said that 23-year-old Ashley Beth Rolland was accused of stealing about $5,000 from her boyfriend, FOX News reported.
The victim, Eugene Dix, told the West Monroe Police Department that he was taking a shower in his apartment when Rolland helped himself to his cash and vanished.
The probable cause affidavit identified Dix as Rolland’s boyfriend, according to The Smoking Gun.
Dix told police that Rolland had been staying with him for about a week when she suddenly stole from him.
When she was questioned, Rolland allegedly confessed to police that she had taken the money, FOX News reported.
She was arrested and taken to the Ouachita Parish jail for booking, The Smoking Gun reported.
Sheriff’s department documents said that when a female correctional officer searched Rolland when she was being processed, she discovered $6,233 and “a clear plastic bag” of methamphetamine inside the woman’s vagina, FOX News reported.
Rolland denied that the bag of approximately one gram of methamphetamine found inside her was hers, the documents said.
Authorities didn’t believe her.
Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office documents showed that Rolland was charged with theft and narcotics possession, according to FOX News.
She was still in custody on Tuesday being held in lieu of an $8,000 bond.
