Sandy MaloneMiami, FL – A 27-year-old woman stripped naked in Miami International Airport on Tuesday night before she ran outside and jumped on top of a police car (video below).
It was just before midnight on Jan. 14 when a young woman, clad only in her bra and panties, sauntered through baggage claim in the busy airport, WFOR reported.
Bystanders captured cell phone video of the woman strolling along singing to herself as if blissfully unaware there was anybody else present.
As she walked, she pushed her top down and let it fall to the floor without ever breaking stride, the video showed.
Then she divested herself of her panties, too, as flabbergasted onlookers watched.
But the video showed that nobody stepped in to stop her or offer to help.
The naked woman made her way into the parking garage next, according to WWPR.
And then she proceeded outside into multiple lanes of moving traffic and jumped on top of a police car, WFOR reported.
Another cell phone video showed the nude woman squatting on top of a police car in the middle of the road.
The officer opened the driver’s door to get out and the woman sprang off the car, ran naked across another lane of traffic, and straight up to another police officer waiting to take her into custody, the video showed.
Police said the woman was “incoherent” and “delusional” when they spoke with her, WWPR reported.
She was taken to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and no charges were expected to be filed.
“On Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Miami-Dade Police Department, Airport District officers, were dispatched to a call of a naked female running through the Miami International Airport (MIA) baggage claim area,” police said in a statement. “The naked female was located at the MIA Central Plaza parking garage exit, behaving erratically. After conducting his investigation, the responding officer took her into custody and transported her to a nearby receiving facility for an involuntary examination, under the Florida Baker Act statute.”
Police said the woman is from out of state and had also been arrested in November of 2019, WWPR reported.
