VIDEO: Toddler Mistakes Wrestling Match For Fight, Goes To Save Sister

When a toddler saw his sister in a wrestling match, he thought she was in a fight and rushed in to help.

Columbia City, IN – When a two-year-old boy saw his four-year-old sister in a fight, he rushed in to save her. Except she wasn’t in a real fight – it was a wrestling match (video below).

The incident happened on Sunday when Ruby Lewis was in her first wrestling match against five-year-old Ryan, according to FOX News.

Two-year-old Jash saw his sister in a fight, and charged in to save her.

Ryan’s father captured the incident on video, and showed it to her mom, Tori Prendergast, when they got home. She then uploaded it to Facebook.

“I only have boys, but if I had a daughter, I hope they would protect their sister like that,” Prendergast told Huntington Post.

Jash and Ruby’s mom told WNDU that the siblings have always been close.

“Some people’s kids are jealous of the next sibling down, and neither one of mine have ever been that way. They’re always like, ‘That’s my sister.’ ‘That’s my brother’,” their mom said, “We’ve been blessed with, we have four great kids. People always comment when we go out, oh your children are so well-behaved … they’re not always like that at home, but we were really lucky.”
