VIDEO: Robber Jumps Through Drive-Thru Window Of Texas McDonald’s

An armed robber crawled through the drive-thru window at a Houston McDonald's on Monday night.

Houston, TX – A armed robber climbed through the drive-through window of a McDonald’s on Monday night and terrorized the restaurant staff (video below).

The terrifying incident occurred just before midnight on Jan. 6 when a green Nissan Xterra pulled into the drive-thru lane at the McDonald’s located on East Freeway near Mercury, KTRK reported.

Surveillance video from outside the drive-thru window showed a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants and holding a gun in his right hand as he climbed out of the Nissan’s back window and through the drive-thru window.

Video from inside the McDonald’s showed the gunman crawling through the open window at the cashier.

The female at the register took off when she saw the gunman coming at her, the video showed.

The suspect chased after her with gun in hand.

Then he turned back and aimed his gun at the head of another employee who was crouching on the floor in terror, the video showed.

The employee told KTRK that the gunman told him to give him the money, but he told the robber that he didn’t have access to the window register.

“The man came back to me and said ‘Give me the money,’” he said. “But I told him ‘I don’t have the window register.’ We were really scared.”

Police said it wasn’t clear whether the suspects were trying to rob the fast food restaurant or target somebody who was inside it, KTRK reported.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to charges and/or an arrest in the case.

Police said that the driver’s side headlight and the passenger’s side fog light are out on the suspect vehicle, KTRK reported.
