VIDEO: Pipe-Wielding Suspect Viciously Attacks Random Man At Laundromat In Front Of Child

Nashville, TN – Surveillance footage captured the moment when a violent suspect brutally attacked a random stranger inside a Nashville laundromat and beat him with a metal pipe in front of a young child on Wednesday (video below).

Nashville police said the horrific attack was one of at least four assaults 32-year-old Khadree Renfro carried out over the past week, WSMV reported.

The most recent incident occurred on March 22 at a laundromat located on Dickerson Pike, according to police.

Security footage showed a 45-year-old man standing beside a washing machine as a suspect dressed all in black approached him from the side, WSMV reported.

The unsuspecting victim appeared to be interacting with a young child who was standing nearby.

That’s when Renfro marched up to the victim and bashed him in the head with a long, metal pipe, the video showed.

The victim fell to the ground and covered his head as the suspect hit him at least eight times.

Renfro then fled the scene, leaving the victim with multiple facial fractures and severe swelling, WSMV reported.

Nashville police said Renfro is also the prime suspect in at least three similar attacks.

He allegedly beat a 27-year-old man who was having car problems on East Due West Avenue on March 16, attacked a 32-year-old man outside the Citgo market on Dickerson Pike on March 18, and assaulted a 21-year-old man who was out for a jog on Lischey Avenue on March 19, WSMV reported.

Police said the assaults were all unprovoked and random, according to WKRN.

Details regarding the victims’ conditions have not been released.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) released the security footage from the attack at the laundromat in an effort to identify and locate the assailant, FOX News reported.

Detectives from the MNPD East Precinct’s Community Field Intelligence Team and the Violent Crimes Division tracked Renfro down at a location on Pennock Avenue early Friday morning, about eight hours after the video was released to the public.

He was booked into jail on three counts of attempted homicide, WSMV reported.

Renfro’s bond was set at $150,000.
