Parkland, FL – Prosecutors released three videos on Wednesday that were filmed by the Parkland school shooter before the attack which left 17 students and faculty dead at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (video below).
The videos, which appear to have been filmed right before his Feb. 14 rampage, show the 19-year-old soon-to-be school shooter talking about his plans and getting himself hyped up.
The first video was a very detailed introduction of himself.
“Hello, my name is [Oxygen Thief], and I’m going to be the next school shooter of 2018. My goal is at least 20 people, with an AR-15 and a couple tracer rounds,” he introduced himself, looking directly into the camera.
“Location is Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida. It’s going to be a big event. And when you see me on the news, you’ll all know who I am,” the former student with a history of disciplinary problems smiled broadly after making the last statement, and chuckled.
“You’re all going to die. Pew, pew. Pew, pew, pew. Oh yeah, can’t wait,” he finished the first recording with by making the sound of gunshots as heard in a video game.
In the second video, the gunman got more serious, and ran through his plan for getting into the school and killing people.
“Alright, so here’s the plan. I’m going to go take Uber in the afternoon before 2:40. From there I’ll go onto school campus, walk up the stairs, unload my bags, and get my AR and shoot people down at the main – what is it the main courtyard? – wait and people will die,” the future school shooter would eventually follow the plan he had laid out up til the point where he opened fire in the courtyard.
The final message the shooter recorded sounded as though it was being read to the camera, and much of it made no sense.
“Today is the day. The day that it all begins. The day of my massacre shall begin. All the kids in school will run in fear and hide. From the wrath of my power they will know who I am,” it’s clear from his words that the gunman’s primary goal was fame.
“I am nothing, I am no one. My life is nothing and meaningless. Everything that I hold dear I let go beyond your half. Every day I see the world ending another day. I live a lone life. Live in seclusion and solitude. I hate everyone and everything. With the power of my AR you will all know who I am,” he continued, his voice gaining enthusiasm as he spoke.
“I had enough of being told what to do and when to do. I had enough of telling me I’m and idiot and a dumbass. When in real life, you’re all the dumbasses. You’re all stupid and brainwashed by political government programs. You will all see, you will all know who my name is,” the teen gunman vowed.
“My love for you, Angie, will never go away. I hope to see you in the afterlife. From one day another, you’ll end, and we’ll all die,” he finished.
The 19-year-old murderer has been charged with 17 counts of murder. He has also been charged with 17 counts of attempted murder for those he wounded during his killing spree.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty despite the fact that the shooter’s attorneys have said he would plead guilty – sparing everyone involved the pain and agony of a trial – if he could be guaranteed a sentence of life without parole, FOX News reported.
