TJ Jimenez, Millionaire Gang Leader, Shot Man On Video

When he was only 13, Jimenez was convicted in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in 1993. He spent 16 years in prison before his lawyers got the conviction overturned. As part of getting his conviction overturned, his lawyers also got him a $25 million payout from taxpayers.

TJ Jimenez used his millions to recruit members for his street gang by spending lavishly on all members, and he blew all of his money on his gang.

On August 17, 2014, TJ Jimenez was cruising in his Mercedes with Jose Roman as they were recording themselves, boasting about how gangster they were.

The thugs then pulled up along side Earl Casteel and Jimenez asked, “Why shouldn’t I blast you right now?”

“Why would you do that?” Casteel said, “I ain’t got nothin against you man.”

Jimenez then shot Casteel in the legs and said, “Shut up bitch!”

The whole incident was captured on video.

The judge sentenced TJ Jimenez on Thursday to just over 9 years in prison for shooting another man in an unprovoked attack.

Judge Harry Leinenweber explained that Jimenez wasn’t given the maximum sentence due to the trauma he experienced as a youngster in prison.

TJ Jimenez’s girlfriend tried to place blame for the shooting elsewhere, “He has trust issues,” She said. “He doesn’t trust anybody, especially law enforcement. I would imagine if they’ve been against you your whole life, there’s no respect for someone who put you away for 16 years for something you didn’t do.”
