Houston, TX – Security footage captured the moment when a swarm of armed suspects descended on a Houston convenience store and held the clerk at gunpoint during a robbery last month (video below).
The holdup occurred in the 7900-block of Main Street at approximately 2:10 a.m. on May 17, KTRK reported.
Newly-released security footage showed four suspects in hooded sweatshirts entering the store and approaching the counter.
One of the males pulled a gun out from beneath his shirt as a second suspect drew two guns from his pockets, the video showed.
The other two suspects both pulled out their own guns at almost the exact same moment.
The clerk frantically raised his hands as the five guns all pointed in his direction, the video showed.
Two suspects had bandanas covering their faces, but the two suspects with their faces exposed appeared to be yelling at the clerk.
Two of the armed attackers went behind the counter while the other two rummaged through a closet.
One of the suspects behind the counter held his gun just inches from the clerk’s head as the employee quickly opened the cash register, the video showed.
The clerk then backed into a corner and crouched down while two of the gunmen stood over him and continued to hold him at gunpoint from just inches away.
The video showed the employee opening a second cash register for the suspects a moment later.
Police said the suspects made off with cash and boxes of cigarettes, KTRK reported.
No arrests have been made, but police said they are hopeful someone will recognize the suspects seen in the footage and call investigators.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to their arrests, KTRK reported.
