VIDEO: Gang Of Masked Teens Ransacks Chinese Restaurant, Causing $20,000 In Damages

Queens, NY – Cell phone footage captured the moment when a mob of violent teens ransacked a College Point restaurant and demolished it, causing at least $20,000 in damages (video below).

The attack occurred at Fish Village shortly before 8:30 p.m. on March 4, WNBC reported.

The Chinese restaurant is located on the third floor of a corner mall.

Cell phone footage showed as many as 20 masked intruders barging into the bustling restaurant and flipping tables and throwing chairs.

Customers and workers ran for cover as dishes crashed to the floor and objects were thrown around the dining room.

It took about one minute for the group to destroy the restaurant, WNBC reported.

Fish Village Manager Tony Hu, who does not speak English, said he took cover behind a counter and called police while the attack was occurring, according to the news outlet.

He said he also instructed his staff not to engage with the mob because he did not want any of his workers to get hurt.

In addition to destroying the dining room, the mob busted out a window, causing a total of about $20,000 in damages before they took off down 127th Street, WNBC reported.

“This is a big financial loss,” Hu told the New York Daily News. “Especially our reputation to future customers. Nobody wants to go to a place where things like this happen.”

Approximately 30 customers were inside the restaurant when the violent mob stormed in.

No patrons or workers were hurt.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, according to WPIX.

Investigators said they have located security footage from the building and the restaurant in addition to the cell phone footage, WNYW reported.
