VIDEO: Fur Missile Launched On Dancing Suspect

A Houston man danced, rather than obey the commands of police officers.

Houston, TX – A Texas suspect was arrested after a K9 was launched to retrieve him on Tuesday.

Officers from the Houston Police Department tried to stop the man’s vehicle on Nov. 14, but he kept going.

He decided to head onto the freeway, where he led them on a pursuit.

The man finally pulled over onto the side of Interstate 45 when he saw that police had placed stop sticks on the road in front of him to puncture his tires, according to KPRC.

At first, the man refused to get out of his car. When he finally left the vehicle, he busted out into a series of dance moves, captured on video.

In the video, the man could be seen dancing as the officers issued commands.

The suspect refused to get on the ground, and eventually began backing away from police officers, as if trying to return to his vehicle, the video showed.

“At one point he backed up like he was going to run from the scene, potentially endangering officers by running across the freeway. At that point we deployed our K9 to safely take him into custody,” said Houston Police Lieutenant Larry Crowson told KTRK.

On the video, the dancing man can be heard screaming as the fur missile was engaged with him. Police were able to safely take him into custody.

The suspect’s injuries were minor, but he was taken to the hospital for a dog bite on his leg, police said.

The driver has been charged with felony evading.
