Franklin, TN – Franklin police are looking for the driver of a dark-color Chevrolet that side-swiped the officer’s patrol car injuring the officer’s leg before leaving the scene. The crash occurred Saturday on Mallory Lane at approximately 5:00 p.m.
According to WKRN News the police officer said the he was halfway out his patrol car when another vehicle smashed into his door, which smashed his leg.
The police officer was transported to the hospital for medical treatment and was released Sunday morning.
Franklin Police Department released a video of the suspect vehicle and a cash reward is being offered for information on the vehicle or owner.
