VIDEO: Cop’s Taser Shot Puts End To Tire Iron Rampage At Taco Bell

A woman went on a rampage in an Oklahoma City Taco Bell, and was tased by police.

Oklahoma City, OK – Police released video of a 52-year-old woman who was tased by police after she went on a rampage with a tire iron and destroyed a Taco Bell on Tuesday (video below).

The incident began on when Zette Lea Madden entered the store on Jan. 30 and started breaking windows, according to The Oklahoman.

A Taco Bell employee called 911.

“Yes, I’m the store manager at Taco Bell on south I-35 service road, I’ve got a woman with a crowbar right now, she’s breaking my windows at my store,” the employee told an Oklahoma City dispatcher.

She told the dispatcher that the suspect lived in a car on the side of the road behind a building.

The woman also told the dispatcher Madden was chasing her employees around the store and had smashed the store’s front window with a crowbar.

“This woman is crazy,” the woman said to the dispatcher.

According to the police report, Madden had smashed both entry doors, and a cash register, threatened employees and demanded money.

When officers arrived on scene, they were greeted by Madden, who was standing in the open doorway of the front entrance.

Madden was holding the door open with one hand, and holding on to the tire iron with the other hand.

In the video, the police officer could be heard ordering Madden to drop the crowbar three separate times, but she refused and continued yelling about spending $150 at the Taco Bell.

The officer deployed his Taser on the armed woman. Once hit, she fell to the ground and screamed.

Madden was arrested and charged with robbery and destruction of property, according to the Oklahoman.

She was held in the Oklahoma County jail on Jan. 31 in lieu of $22,000 bail.
