Kent, WA – A man armed with a knife crawled through the window of a bikini barista cafe and kidnapped the barista and tried to sexually assault her, according to police.

Hottie Shots Espresso hires women wearing bikinis to serve its drinks. A 30-year-old barista was working on the order of a 33-year-old man when he climbed through the window. The man threatened the barista with a knife and then forced her to go into a dark alley near the stand.
“I’m doing everything I can to stall him,” the victim told KOMO. “I’m dragging my feet. I’m giving him dead body weight so it’s not easy for him to just walk me over into my death. And I was just like, ‘oh my god why isn’t anyone pulling up.’”
Then, another car pulled up and the man ran off. The barista called 911.
Police said the barista was OK other than a few scratches, The News Tribune reported.
KIRO-TV interviewed a co-worker it only identified as Alix.
Alix says the boldness of the attacker even though there was security cameras was unnerving.
“We’ve been robbed a couple times as well,” Alix said. “If somebody ever wants something in here, we assume it’s the money. This was much more terrifying.”
Kent Police Department Detective Melanie Robinson was also shocked by the video.
“The video is shocking to be quite honest with you,” Robinson said. “To hear her reaction, it’s alarming.”
