VIDEO: Anti-Trump Protesters Burn MAGA Hats, Throw Urine Outside Minnesota Rally

Protesters attacked and harassed Trump supporters and squared off with police outside the Minneapolis rally on Thursday.

Minneapolis, MN – Hundreds of anti-Trump protesters created mayhem outside the Target Center as they confronted, harassed, and attacked those attending President Donald Trump’s rally inside the venue on Thursday night.

Protesters gathered up Make America Great Again (MAGA) hats and other Trump-related items – most of which had allegedly been snatched away from pro-Trump attendees – and set them ablaze on the ground, FOX News reported.

Others in the crowd, which was made up of many black-mask wearing antifa, threw urine at the event’s attendees, according to USA Today.

One video showed a man in a blue jacket as he was leaving the rally by himself, The Washington Post reported.

“There’s a Nazi over here!” someone yelled, as the group converged around the man.

Video footage showed the crowd shoving and punching him before he finally took off running away from them down the street.

“Shame on you!” people in the crowd yelled at Trump supporters, according to FOX News. “Lock him up!”

As another man was exiting the rally, a protester stole his red hat off his head, leading to a brawl, KMSP reported.

Physical altercations broke out in several locations and multiple people were arrested.

The unruly crowd later surrounded Trump supporters’ vehicles and boxed them in as they were trying to leave the area, KMSP reported.

One video showed protesters dismantling police barricades and carrying them away, while another showed the crowd facing off with a line officers while hurling profanities at them.

Police ultimately deployed pepper spray in some areas to help disperse the chaotic protest, USA Today reported.

Inside the venue, Trump repeatedly expressed his appreciation for law enforcement officers, USA Today reported.

Because off-duty officers had been banned from wearing their uniforms to the rally, they instead donned red t-shirts that read “Cops for Trump,” according to the news outlet.

A man wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey blew kisses at rallygoers as he was led out of the venue by security officers, KMSP reported.

Protesters scattered throughout the venue were also removed when they yelled at the President or blew whistles to disrupt his speech.

Police cleared most protesters out of the area by midnight.
