VIDEO: 82-Year-Old Disabled Man Stabbed From Behind At Taco Bell, Manhunt Underway For Attacker

Los Angeles, CA – Security footage captured the moment when a suspect walked up behind an 82-year-old, wheelchair-bound man inside a Taco Bell and brutally stabbed him in the neck last week (video below).

The horrific attack occurred inside the fast-food joint located in the 12000-block of Venice Boulevard at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Oct. 3, KTLA reported.

Security footage showed the 82-year-old victim sitting in a chair beside his wheelchair as he at his meal in the dining area of the Mar Vista restaurant.

A man carrying a small red skateboard walked into the business and immediately headed for the unsuspecting victim, the video showed.

The suspect then plunged a knife into the elderly man’s neck from behind, stabbing him at least twice before abruptly running out of the restaurant.

Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) paramedics responded to the scene and discovered the victim had been stabbed in his shoulder and neck, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said in a press release on Thursday.

He was rushed to a local hospital with “severe injuries,” and was later listed in stable condition, the LAPD said.

Investigators released security footage of the brutal attack on Thursday in an effort to identify and locate the suspect.

He is described as a bald male between the ages of 20 and 30, stands between five feet, one inch tall and five feet, six inches tall, and weighs an estimated 130 pounds, the LAPD said.

He also has a small tattoo next to his left eye and a large tattoo on the back of his head, according to police.

The suspect was last seen on foot heading towards Inglewood Avenue.

Investigators urged anyone with information about the suspect or the attack to contact police immediately.
