Two Killed, Four Wounded By Active Shooter At Boise Mall

Boise, ID – Two people were killed and four more were wounded during an active shooter at a Boise Mall on Monday.

Police said the incident occurred just before 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 25 in the Boise Town Square Mall on North Milwaukee between Franklin and Cole Roads, the Idaho Statesman reported.

Officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired inside the mall.

After officers arrived, they encountered a person matching the suspect description and engaged the suspect in a gunfight.

An officer was shot in the gunfight, and the suspect was taken into custody.

The shooter is believed to have acted alone, and the police are not looking for additional suspects at this time.

No information has been released about the identity of the suspect or victims.

Two of the shooting victims were killed in the attack, and no details have been released about the status of the wounded victims.

Part of the shooting incident was captured on video and shared to social media.
