Texas Man Shoots Robber In Head Who Was Holding His Wife At Gunpoint

Two men tried to rob a woman in her driveway but didn't know her husband was inside and armed

Houston, TX – A husband opened fire on two robbers who held his wife at gunpoint at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The husband shot one of the suspects in the head while the other suspect fled, according to KHOU-TV.

The wife pulled into her driveway and then two robbers jumped out and tried to rob her, according to the police.

One of the suspects went for the woman’s purse. The other suspect put a gun to the woman’s head as they walked toward the house, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The robbers tried to force the man’s wife at gunpoint into the home. The husband was inside and heard the commotion and grabbed his gun.

The husband exchanged fire with the two suspects, both of which were armed with guns. While one suspect fled, the other stayed and kept his gun pointed at the wife’s head.

The husband aimed for the suspect’s head and pulled the trigger, teaching the robber what happens when you try to rob people in Texas.

Police found the suspect lying in the couple’s driveway, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

That robber was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery.

Police are still searching for the second suspect.
