Riverside, CA – A suspect running from the police put himself in an icky position on Monday in California when he jumped into a porta-potty.
Police and fire department personnel had to rescue William Weaver, age 38, from the inside of a portable toilet, where he had gotten stuck while trying to hide from police.
On Monday, October 23, at approximately 7:15 am, police officers from the Moreno Valley Police Department received a call regarding a suspicious person, according to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect took off when officers arrived, and they lost track of him.
A couple of hours later, police received another complaint about a suspicious adult male in the same general vicinity.
When police arrived, they found the Weaver wedged into a porta-potty, where he had attempted to hide from police.
Cal-Fire responded, and had to use their equipment to cut the man free from the toilet.
After the Riverside County Fire Department hosed down the suspect, police arrested him.
The man wearing a toilet seat around his waist in the pictures was charged with resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer, and possession of stolen property.
Mike Dyer posted the hilarious photos on Facebook after the incident on Monday, with the following caption:
