Los Angeles, CA – Police have arrested a Tesla driver in California who was caught on video attacking other motorists with a pipe in a series of bizarre road rage incidents.
Authorities believe that 36-year-old Nathaniel Radimak is responsible for at least two recent road rage incidents that occurred on highways in the Los Angeles area, KTLA reported.
A video of one of the attacks, filmed on Jan. 11, showed a black Tesla Model X slamming on the brakes on the 2 Freeway in Northeast Los Angeles.
The victim said he had started recording the Tesla after he saw it driving erratically and appearing to target another driver on the freeway.
Police said a man believed to be Radimak was captured on video hopping out of his Tesla with a large pipe in his hands and running toward the victim’s car, KTLA reported.
The video showed the suspect struck the other motorist’s vehicle multiple times with the pipe before he jumped back in his car and sped away.
Similar videos appeared online of similar incidents and frightening encounters with the sometimes-masked, pipe-wielding Tesla driver, KTLA reported.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials said multiple dashcam videos and “several leads” brought Radimak to the attention of investigators.
