Playboy Centerfold Grabs 7-Year-Old Son And Jumps Out Of Penthouse Window

Stephanie Adams murdered her 7-year-old son and killed herself.

New York, NY – A former Playboy centerfold spent the final night of her life in a $489-a-night penthouse suite in Manhattan with her 7-year-old son before throwing the boy out the 25th floor window and then jumping herself on Friday.

Stephanie Adams, who was Miss November 1992 Playboy Playmate, was involved in a nasty custody battle over her son with her estranged husband Charles Nicolai, the owner of Wall Street Chiropractic & Wellness, according to the New York Daily News.

Police said there was no suicide note left.

A source told the New York Post that Adams was upset because she couldn’t take her son to Europe for the summer. Adams and Nicolai were in court Wednesday morning when Adams asked a judge for permission to take their son, Vincent, to Spain for the summer to visit her boyfriend, according to the source.

Nicolai has visitation rights and convinced a judge to side with him.

Adams was ordered to turn over Vincent’s passport.

“She loved that child,” said attorney Sanford Rubenstein, who represented Adams in a 2012 lawsuit against the New York Police Department, according to the New York Daily News. “It’s a horrible, horrible tragedy.”

The hotel employees speculated based on reports from guests that Adams dropped her son first from the window and then leaped to her death at about 8:30 a.m., according to the New York Daily News.

The NYPD answered five domestic disputes involving Adams and Nicolai between July 2017 and March 2018, sources told the New York Daily News.

There was an order of protection involved in their case but the New York Daily News said it was unclear which spouse asked for it.

Adams and Nicolai were in the news in 2014 when Nicolai fired a yoga instructor because her good looks were making Adams jealous, the New York Daily News reported. The fired yoga instructor sued the couple.
