OfficerBlueHouston, TX – A pimp is dead after an altercation with a good Samaritan Saturday morning in Houston.
Police were called at 2:30 a.m. to what was initially reported to be a hit-and-run in the 14600 block of Hempstead, according to KHOU.
Officers arrived and contacted a female victim who had been sex trafficked from Wisconsin.
The victim told officers that she was attempting to flee from a pimp who was assaulting her. The pimp chased her to the roadway where a good Samaritan saw what was happening and stopped his truck to help.
The two men then got involved in an altercation before the pimp threatened to shoot the good Samaritan and started reaching for his waistband.
The good Samaritan jumped back in his truck to avoid getting shot as the victim tried to climb into the moving truck.
The pimp pulled the trafficking victim’s hair and they both went to the ground. They then got up and the pimp collapsed, dead.
Sergeant R. Klementich told the press, “According to the reporting witness, the male pimp hits the ground, rises to his feet, stumbles across the roadway and collapses on the shoulder.”
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Police have been unable to locate the good Samaritan and would like to speak with him.
