Phoenix Cop Under Investigation For Allegedly Making Porn While On-Duty

Phoenix, AZ – A Phoenix police officer has become the subject of an internal affairs investigation after he allegedly made and distributed pornography while on-duty and working from home.

Phoenix Police Department (PPD) Officer Christian Goggans, 30, allegedly starred in extremely graphic pornography videos he uploaded to a public Twitter page under the name of “Rico Blaze,” FOX News reported.

Sources said Officer Goggans, who joined the PPD in 2020, has been making pornography since 2019, according to KTVK.

He has also allegedly been traveling back and forth to Las Vegas while on home duty to produce and star in porn films, according to the news outlet.

The PPD said Officer Goggans’ home-duty status required him to check in by phone once daily, KTVK reported.

The department would not provide details regarding why Officer Goggans has been on home assignment.

The PPD did confirm that an internal investigation into Officer Goggans is now underway.

“We can confirm there is an open internal investigation underway involving Officer Goggans,” the PPD told KTVK on Wednesday. “Officer Goggans was on home assignment prior to the start of the investigation for unrelated and non-disciplinary reasons.”

The PPD would not discuss the circumstances of the internal investigation, which was opened on Dec. 7, KNXV reported.

Officer Goggans was notified about the probe three days later, according to the news outlet.

A short while after a KTVK reporter called what was believed to be a personal phone number for the Goggans family on Monday, the settings on the “Rico Blaze” Twitter page were changed to “private,” according to KTVK.

“I create Art & my [eggplant emoji] is the pen,” the description on the Twitter page reads, according to the New York Post.

Although he’s only been with the PPD for two years, sources told KNXV Officer Goggans has been the subject of multiple internal investigations.
