Naked Woman Attacks Chicago Cop, Runs Him Over With His Patrol Vehicle

Chicago, IL – A naked woman attacked a Chicago police officer on Monday morning and then stole his police car and ran him over with it before leading police on a chase across the city.

Chicago police officials said the incident began at about 9 a.m. on June 13 when police responded to a 911 call about a naked woman lying in the road near the intersection of Jackson Boulevard and Kostner Avenue, WFLD reported.

Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown said the first officer on the scene tried to render aid to the woman.

Superintendent Brown said the naked woman got up and charged at the officer, WFLD reported.

The superintendent said the woman assaulted the officer and then stole his patrol vehicle and ran him over with it.

The wounded officer was transported to Stroger Hospital for treatment with a cut on the head and injuries to his leg, WFLD reported.

Superintendent Brown said that woman fled the scene in the police car and later crashed.

Police radio traffic indicated that dispatchers told officers that the woman was armed and that she had driven the police vehicle onto the Eisenhauer Expressway, WFLD reported.

An officer reported that the suspect side-swiped five cars on Harrison Street near Damon as she tried to flee, according to radio traffic.

The woman was taken into custody after the wreck and transported to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, WFLD reported.

“The officer was run over by this woman. — legs received some type of injuries as well as a laceration to the head,” Superintendent Brown told reporters at a press briefing.

“The officer is in the hospital being treated as we speak,” he said. “We’ll get more updates as we learn more. We don’t know why the woman was laying in the street unclothed.”
