MTV’s Teen Mom 2 Star Arrested For Running Meth Lab

A reality star from MTV's "Teen Mom 2" was arrested for running a meth lab in an apartment.

McKees Rocks, PA – A reality TV star was arrested for a meth lab he was operating out of his basement apartment on Wednesday.

Kieffer Delp, 28, appeared on MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” as the boyfriend of Jenelle Eason from 2011 to 2013.

Delp had multiple run-ins with the police while filming the reality show, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

This time, police received a tip about Delp’s meth lab, and raided the residence at 4:15 p.m. on Jan. 10.

McKees Rocks Police Chief Richard Deliman said the police had received multiple complaints about the apartment, and had been investigating it.

During the raid, the state police removed laboratory materials and chemicals which had a strong odor, according to police.

There was lithium, lighter fluid, propane, empty pseudoephedrine packaging, ammonium nitrate, and instant cooking pots in the apartment, the Post-Gazette reported.

“Obviously with all these chemicals together and during the process of making this, it could ultimately explode, which is why we evacuated the building while the product was being removed,” Chief Deliman said.

Police believe that Delp operated the meth lab on his own, and have no other suspects.

In November of 2017, it was announced that Delp would appear in the MTV show “The Ex Files,” a spin-off of Teen Mom 2. That show was listed as “in development.”

The Post-Gazette reported that at the time of his arrest in Pennsylvania, Delp had an active warrant for his arrest from New Jersey, although there were no details available.

TMZ reported that Delp was also arrested for assault in North Carolina in 2011.

Delp was charged with several felonies, including manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamines and the improper disposal of chemicals.

He was unable to post $50,000 bail, and was being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Delp’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 23.
