AndrewBlakeAtlanta, GA – A mother pleaded guilty to offering up her two daughters – ages 5 and 6 – to be raped by men for money. One of the men was 78 years old.
Morgan Summerlin, 25, will be sentenced June 4 on charges of first-degree cruelty to children, trafficking a person for sexual servitude and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
According to the Fulton County District Attorney, Richard Office, 78., gave Summerlin drugs. While out of jail in Florida, Summerlin had temporary custody of her children and took her daughters to Office who then touched them and “humped” the 5-year-old girl, which caused her to bleed from the vaginal area.
The victims told their temporary legal guardians that their mother took them to men’s homes to be molested and raped for money, according to the district attorney.
The girls said that while Office raped the younger sister, the older sister rubbed his feet. Office then gave the girls $100 and Summerlin immediately took the money from her daughters.
Another man, Alfredo Trejo, also raped and molested the two girls in the same manner. Trejo also gave the girls money, which Summerlin also took from them.
On Feb. 26, Trejo was convicted of raping the girls and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Office was found guilty of numerous crimes including rape and child molestation and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The victims’ grandmother, Teresa Davidson, pleaded guilty to a charge of cruelty to children. The sister told their grandmother they were being sexually abused and she didn’t protect them. The grandmother had a five-year sentence that was modified to serve one commuted to time she had already served, according to the district attorney.
“It is difficult to imagine facts that are more horrific than those found in this case,” District Attorney Paul Howard, Jr. said in a press release. “I am hoping these two little girls can somehow survive this abuse and grow into healthy adults who can lead a productive and fulfilling life.”
