Stinnett, TX – Now-former Stinnett Police Chief Jason Collier was arrested by Texas Rangers Thursday.
Collier, who is married, was placed on administrative leave Wednesday after his numerous girlfriends found each other on Facebook on Tuesday and their public conversation went viral.
The chief resigned Thursday, according to a statement from the City of Stinnett.
The Texas Rangers were called Wednesday to investigate Collier for criminal violations, according to MyHighPlains.com.
After an investigation, Collier was arrested and has been charged with tampering with a government record with the intent to defraud or harm, according to MyHighPlains.com.
The charges are linked to a falsified annulment document that Collier provided to one of his girlfriends, according to KVII.
