LATEST: Two Officers Murdered, One Wounded, Homes Set Ablaze After Stabbing Call

Two police officers were killed and one was wounded after responding to a stabbing call.

Honolulu, HI – Two Honolulu police officers were murdered after responding to a stabbing call Sunday morning.

The incident started when a landlord attempted to evict a tenant at a home on Hibiscus Dr. in the Diamond Head area, according to KHON.

The tenant stabbed the landlord before officers were called.

When three Honolulu PD officers arrived, the suspect shot them.

The suspect then set the home on fire. The fire then to spread to five other homes, a police car, and other vehicles.

Two of the wounded officers were transported to the hospital in critical condition before dying at the hospital.

The conditions of the third wounded officer and the landlord have not been released, according to Hawaii News Now.

It’s believed that the suspect died in the incident, but that has not yet been confirmed.
