‘Kill The Cops’ – Unrest After Chicago Cop Shot ‘Unarmed Black Man’ With Gun

A Chicago PD officer-involved shooting has sparked unrest and threats against police.

Chicago, IL – Protesters gathered and threatened to kill the police after a Chicago PD officer shot a man Saturday night.

The incident happened in the area of 71st St and Chappel Ave at around 5:30 p.m.

Community “witnesses” are claiming that an unarmed black barber was walking home from work when a Chicago PD officer shot him in the back as he was running away.

Other “witnesses” said that the man had a gun, but it was okay for the man to have a gun, because he had a concealed carry permit.

It’s not clear if any of these witnesses actually witnessed the shooting.

UPDATE: Chciago PD confirms that the man had a gun.

No other information has been officially released about the circumstances of the shooting.

The condition of the suspect has not been officially released, but WGN9 reports that is he is dead.

No officers were injured in the shooting.

Neither the involved officers or suspect have been identified at this time.

Almost immediately after the shooting, a crowd gathered and started threatening to shoot the police officers.

At least one person started jumping on police cars.

The unrest has been captured on video by the large number of community activists who arrived following the shooting.
