Washington, DC – A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in the nation’s capital on charges that he sexually assaulted a woman while he and two friends were burglarizing her home.
The incident occurred at about 2:56 a.m. on Feb. 7 at a home near Howard University in the 700-block of Girard Street, NW, while the residents were sleeping, according to Popville.
The break-in was conducted by three juvenile boys, a 13 year old, a 14 year old, and a 16 year old.
The victim told police that she was asleep in bed when the boys broke in and when she woke up, somebody was sexually assaulting her, WRC reported.

The suspect vehicle fled when police spotted it, but then it crashed into a parked vehicle in the 1700-block of Euclid Street, NW, in Adams Morgan.
Police arrested two of the suspects, the 14-year-old and 16-year-old boys, at the scene, WRC reported.
They have been charged with burglary and theft.
